Just speaking on FB chat to my 'horsey' friend about how fudge is getting on and well...

i wud, welshs can carry more than ud think. u dont need to jump him or nethin just get on him barback nd have a walk around. its sad to think hes nt being rode

So... 11.5 stone ish on a 11.3 welsh sec A... thats a stone per hand...should be fine...think ill start my own club!!!

Why do people think that if you have a horse you should be riding it, like its got a debt to pay.

Haha! At a riding school i worked at if you weighed 10.5 stone you werent allowed on the 15.2's! The yard manager was as thin as a rake so i dont think she ever understood anyone being over 9 stone as i am sure she was around 7stone (she was 5ft2)
 
lol...i remember being 9 stone... :(

one of my instructors seems to mention my weight alot, she is tiny though, so probably feel the same as your YO :)
 
Pink Pony you are absolutely right. 11 and a half stone on an 11.3 pony is way too much! Maybe sit on him for a few seconds, but proper riding, no way. My friend has a welsh section B and he's 12.2hh. No way would I ride him and I'm 9 stone 11.
 
It did make me lol! i know im a shortarse and all but really...? pink is 15.2 (measured her tuesday..took forever..tape quite obviously wanted to eat her..) and i want her to grow a little bit more..

the things people tell you.. now all i need to do is learn how to photoshop myself onto him and send her the pic :D
 
First time I read this I got the red and blue text the wrong way around for OP and her friend... there are some outrageous combinations on here... glad you're not going to be one of them OP!
