For the first time I went to the Bargain Barn in Normanton on Soar today, and just want to say how much I appreciated the help the woman who runs it gave me in selecting feeds, and how impressed I was at her patience with my toddler (who was admittedly being a bit of a terror).

i never knew it existed until about 2 months ago!

Im going back in a couple of weeks without my toddler so i can have a good shop

Thats the shop on my livery yard!
And as you said, Sue has a lot of patience and is really good.
She runs a fantastic yard too!
Have a lot of praise for her

Ahh, great, can you tell her I said thanks!

I was really embarrased as my little boy was being a bit over excited to say the least. I dont normally take him horse shopping but it was unavoidable today - I had to get veterinary stuff to deal with changing the dressing on my mare's leg.

The yard looks nice - I notice you have a school which we dont have at our yard!

we also have a XC course...well a few fences but makes brilliant hacking

And in the summer there is a SJ paddock but the jumps have been taken down so they don't rot over winter.
And the school is bigger than it looks, easily jump a 16.3 in there
