Chestnutmare

A grey mare I had on loan many years ago, she was just an angel in everyway I hated giving her up, she was 14.2hh fleabitten grey with melanoma under her tail and a lump buy her throat, only small one.
She was loaned by me in 1993/94 in Denmead Hampshire I know who her owner is and still do although once I gave her up she sold her I don't know where to, but I remember watching her load onto the lorry and I balled my eyes out.
I did try tracing her whereabouts a few years ago in 'your horse' mag and had a lady call, but never heard back from them
She was about 14/15 when I had her, so I would be very surprised if she is still going strong.
She never used to have a headcollar on to come in she would walk by your side and answered to ' Nanny' she was a true gem of a mare.
If anyone recognizes her in anyway, please please contact me I would love to know that she went to a good home and was loved as much as I did.
