im not selling my horse, but want to know how much hes worth and if i could get more for him now...
hes a 15.2/3hh ISH grey gelding.
Heres what hes done:
Pony Club teams, Intermediate and Open- done Intermediate Championships for both SJing and Eventing... always double clear with good dressage. makes a nice outline, and has good paces. Done BSJA upto Newcomers, succesfully with actual £300 and notinal somewhere around £250. have qualified for 1.10m national amateur. Team chased upto 4ft Opens, great lead horse, who sets the perfect pace and has always been within 15 seconds of the optimum time!Great hunter, jumps anything- gates, walls, hedges, ditches, post and rails, all with great ease no matter what the height is. very careful jumper, rarely knocks a pole.
He hacks out with or without company- i lead 3 horses off him with no trouble. Really kind horse, very sweet and good to do.
I could go on but wont

God sorry their HUGE... no idea ho to resize.. really sorry

Wow he is lovely. I have no idea price wise tbh, how old is he, and would he pass a full vetting? So going on the above without the other bits of info, if in his prime, and not over 11ish, 7-8K? Ish? Sorry if way out, he really is a smasher.

oops hes 14 this year and passed a 5* vetting 2 years ago, had nothing wrong since, the guy who vetted him used to be GBs eventing team vet, so is VERY sharp on 5* vettings, but he said when he had dont it all he had never met a horse that has been so clean limbed! so basically yes he can pass the vet!!

oh and probabaly in his prime, as although a bit older, really has started to develop the last few years, as dressage has vastly improved and now is a XC machine, whereas when i got him at 11/12, he had hardly done XC and his dressage was cr@p tbh!

hmm, if he was a few years younger, I'd have said 10K+, at his age I'd say 7-8K, easy and sounds lovely!

Goodness me that sounds an awful lot for a 14 year old.
I think thats unrealistic in the present economic climate even if he is amazing. At 14 he is middle aged after all.
Sorry, but I would think more like £6000.

What team chases has he done? Opens are not done on optimum time, its a speed class. And they ain't 4'! He looks a nice type, but I agree with the middle aged bit and couldn't put him over 5k. Glad you're not selling though, he sounds hard to replace.

up to open, as in everything in between, we did the one at foxcote last year, and the vwh- i thikn but could have been old berks, cant remeber, open this year, but hes done the novices and intermediates...
oh and the 4ft bit refers to the hedges they use... generally the rest is 3.6ft ish, but depends where you go....
