pregnancy and gestation time

hi gys i don't venutre in here often but i have a jack russel who is pregnant at the moment. her due date is 26th december if she goes the full 63 days.

my question is she is very heavy at the moment what is the shortest her gestation can be as i realy can't see her going 63 day as she realy is huge.

I have had girls be almost a week early as they are really heavily pregnant. Any sooner than that and you may have problems. Even a week early they may need special looking after. Just equate one week as one month in a human pregnancy and it all makes sense.

thanks for that it is very helpful i am so use to breeding staffies that have always went on time and my little girl looks so big and wasn't sure if she would hold on another couple of weeks.
