This may be a silly question, but I'd really appreciate your advice..
The test states-working canter left, then a circle remaining in canter, then continuing hxf at which point it says-change rein. Does this mean you need to change from working canter left to right or should you remain on the same leg unless the test specifies otherwise?
Thanks so much in advance for your help.

if it wants you to change leg it will say simple change of leg through trot. one sec il go get mine and have a look!!

I rode this test today. Go across the diagonal in canter, then to trot when you reach F. Then after movement 8 you want to walk at A. You're changing the rein, not the canter lead.

it is abit tricky coz the horse wants to trot before F so you just need to practice at home!! if you can do counter canter, then change the rein and do a few strides of counter canter then ask for trot, they wont expect to trot before F then if you practice it enough!

OK, the first canter, you canter HXF, and trot at F, and the trick is to maintain a good canter until you reach F (many horse will try to drop out). Don't do as I did last week, and concentrate so hard on the canter, that you nearly crash into F, though!

Walk at A, free walk through 1/2 diagonal,etc...second canter works the same way, keep cantering MXK through the diagonal, trot at A, and then trot up centre line. Same issues as before!

Thats fab-thanks so much all for the help. I've got a few weeks before the test and now I know which part I'll be practicing the most!
Thanks again!
