Whichever one has movements in that are more aligned with what your horse currently finds easier

This! My mare would fall in in canter on a straight line but not on a circle. So I picked the one with the least cantering on a straight line.
Ride both at home. You’ll see which one you find easier.

Agree with the others. Have a look at both (there are quite often videos in YouTube) and decide which suits your horse better.

Personally, I prefer 12....but they are all personal taste
