Prelim. . .whips. . .length. . .?

I have tried to access BD and BE rules but it crashes my laptop so i gave up.

Im doing prelim 7 and am going to be using a whip. . .am i right in thinking the right sort of whip would be a long schooling whip? And are there any lenght restrictions. . .as i dont want to turn up and have the whip taken of me because it is to long.

Any help would be great thanks

Just not too long that you will catch other riders in the warm up
