Hi, does anyone have any ideas, following a tendon injury, I am looking to invest in a decent set of event/cross country boots and would prefer to go down the airflow/cool route....

My boy is 16.2hh ID X TB and whilst a medium is fine in front, is hinds are causing a few problems with fitting.... i bought the premier equine ones and the med hind is just not wide enough, am going to measure tonight but think the large will be much too long in the length/height, whcih is a real shame.... Have considered the N.E.W Airflow boots or the Prolite hind event boots (my last boy had these in large and they drowned my new lad so guess a med in these might be ok??) What boots do you all use, recommend and find how they come up? Any tips or hints much appreciated!

I use the New Airflow ones, I've had them a couple of years now and they are wearing well!!

My chap is a 16.1hh ID x TB, not the heavy sort if you know what I mean (he's the one in my siggy). I'm sure I would have bought the large front and backs for him and they fit fine, they don't slip or move and I still don't have to put tape over the velcro! They keep his legs cool, weigh nothing even when wet so should be ideal for you chap!

Thoroughly recommend them

my 16.2 sports horse (in siggy) has large prolites in front, and large PE's behind
i have pairs of both the extreme and air cooled PE, and both are very tough boots, excellent cannon/tendon guards, and very good value for money. i would def buy again
i would say large would be fine for your boy
