Ie the ecogold 'copies'! Has anyone used these? Are they any good? How thick are they?

I'm currently waiting on a new made to measure close contact saddle and prefer to have a little something under the saddle for the horses protection but obviously don't want to use something too thick and affect the fit of the saddle

I've been looking at those too for a horse whose saddle does move about a bit (have gone through hell fitting her saddle-wise, this is the best we can get!). But same as you, I don't want it to be too padded...

I love them. They're not 'too' padded but just enough if you know what I mean. Wouldn't change the fit of a saddle but squishy enough to be comfy.

The only thing I've found with them is that I wish they were bigger. My saddle Kent and Master S series Jump saddle, 17.5inch and I've got a XC style pad and a jumping one. Although the shapes are good, the XC pad is too short (depth wise) meaning I cannot get my girth through the straps as the flaps cover them. The jumping one is slightly longer so I use that one mostly.

Good quality though and would definitely buy the dressage one too.
