I have a very old pair of Premier Equine Airflow boots that I just use now for turning out Lari, hence the state they are in! They used to be used on Bailey on fun rides and cross country prior to Lari wearing them. They always looked very smart teamed up with a nice white saddle cloth.
They're useful at the moment for his tendon injury when turned out over night as they won't over heat the tendons. Although in true Lari fashion he's chewed one of the straps off, which I've just repaired.
Over the years I've noticed lots of stray threads have started coming loose on them and for the price I paid for them they haven't weathered well at all.
I wondered if the new style of boots (pictured on the horse from a website page) were of better quality than the old type as I'd like to treat myself to a new or barely used set off ebay for my next horse.
Are the new style longer lasting? TIA.
