As above?? thought id invest in 1 good turnout rug and wondered if they are any good??.I like the look of the higher neck covers as my beasty lives out 24/7.

Thanks.

I think so, I bought one of their heavyweight stormbuster rugs in their sale last year and can't fault it - its really toasy, nice and waterproof, good buckles / straps / velcro etc and its not too heavy for me to lug about either. Good value all round!

Customer service is rubbish though........
I think they have improved the rugs, the one I bought a few years back was faulty, all the buckles snapped and they really weren't interested in helping to sort it in fact they were VERY rude. Personally I would never deal with them again.
Love the Horseware/Rambo rugs and the old Fals.

The HW turnout and the two MW turnouts I bought didn't stand up to heavy rain. I was really disappointed as I have an old HW from years ago that is brilliant.

If they were waterproof then I'd rate them as the best rugs I've found but they're not

Ive got a HW turnout with detatchable neck and i really rate it.. mine is very waterproof and rip proof! I also have a MW stable rug and a summer sheet and like them all too.

One winter I had a horse that was turned out with a crowd of biting youngsters. He got through rug after rug being torn and battered until I struck upon the premier equine rug that withstood everything and was totally waterproof - ever since i've always bought premier as they're good value.

Having said that I gather premier are the marmite of rug producers - you either love them or loathe them - I've never had any reason to fault them.

They're fabulous rugs P. Hope your boy really enjoys it. They are REALLY deep so great for horses who are out and clipped. Flo's nearly wraps completely round her tummy and touches in the middle.

Of all the fastenings I have had one bit of velcro become unstitched (2 rugs, 2 horses, 3 seasons).
