Hi I am treating my 5yr old to some new event boots from premier equine, but not sure as size for his hinds medium or large. I think he will be a medium in front. Can anyone te me whether they are a generous cut or not. He is a 16"2 warmblood but with quite a lot of blood so not chuncky. He has large woof brushing boots behind. Many thanks :)

I have the PE fronts for Fleur. She is a 16hh ish KWPN but like your's not heavy set. She has the medium ones and they are more than big enough. I haven't got the backs for her as have NEW boots behind at mo but I would imagine she would be medium behind as well :)

I use med PE all round for the 15.3hh, and large for the 17hher. Am currently looking for a spare med set for the little one as they are getting on a bit now. I would say they are a generous cut - there is no way I could put the larges on the 15.3 as they would drown her (whereas a large hind NEW would fit her). Hope this helps.

Weirdly I had to buy large for mine's hinds! He's 16.2 sports horse not exceptionally chunky legs? Med hinds just didn't quite do up securely. This is the aircooled ones I am talking about. His fronts are medium.
