Unless your horse is a sweetitch sufferer don't go for sweet itch version as they are always heavier as no mesh holes as the midge responsible for causing sweet itch is tiny and gets through mesh, not a problem for a non sweetitch horse though .
After last years warm summer my horse is in a super lightweight fly rug, love it, it's quality mesh so will last but won't heat him, also keeps him clean.
My girl has the superlite dry one, which is great. Its really light and with the weather that we are having at the moment one minute sun then rain, its keeping her nice and dry as well as protecting from the wee beasties If you like them on fb, they have daily deals and these are often in them at least once a week, and you can then get twenty percent off the item
Hi,
My mare has the super lite, not the dry one though which I am regretting after this weather It's very stiff when you get it but is softening up, it stays put and protects my delicate flower from the bugs.... She's pretty sensitive to them but is v well protected.
I second the FB advice! They do daily deals by email and they are always discounted every week!!
Happy bug busting
