I think so. I bought mine four years ago and although very dirty its in great condition!! Also got a light weight 70g one and I'm currently thinking about buying a medium!
Personally I think they're great- my oldest must be 3/4 years old and still going strong. They fit my horse really well and never move when he has a good roll.
I agree with Trendy Braincell. I am very disappointed with my premier equine rug. it leaks and the fit is terrible. I wanted a 40g but they didnt have it in stock so sent me a 70g for the same price. great customer service but unfortunately i just dont like the rugs. will be selling it on when i find a replacement.
I wouldn't buy any other kind of heavyweight turnout. My mare has wintered out twice wearing hers, it has never rubbed her and it has never leaked. I got it cleaned for the first time this autumn and it has come back looking as good as new!
She has managed to rip all of her lighter rugs (other brands) but the premier equine rug has never even had a snag. I would reccomend very highly!
They must be equal in quality to the top-end Horseware Rambo rugs, just at least half the price.
I have always been a Rambo/Rhino fan but got fed up with the tiny neck cover on the Duo so have just bought a PE heavyweight. She hasn't worn it yet but I am so impressed with the fit and quality of the fabric and all for less than half the price!
Another Plus from me ...I have over the years had various differnt rugs including some madly expensive ones and so far I cannot fault the PE ones .Great fit (I have the 7'3") for my 2 big boys and they both have field access 24/7 so can come and go and they seem happy to stay out ...so far no leaks.
Have all the weights of rugs plus their Fly and sweet itch rugs which are also brilliant
So glad i came across this. The yard farrier does the horses in the catalogue and gave me a cataloge. The items looked good and reasonably priced but have never tried them - will now
they are brilliant. I have had the 450g with neck for 3 years. It is great, all you can see of her when she has it on is her head and from the knees down. because of the material, the mud seems to just wash off when it rains. It has never rubbed and her mane remained intact despite having it on most of last winter. Love love love it. I wouldn't buy anything else now.
I'm another fan and have had severak over the year. Love keeping an oversize 70g one to hand as can throw over any rug in heaviest of rain and they stay bone dry. We call it the ran mac
I love my PE rugs. Got a 70g, 300g and 450g and that sorts me totally for the winter!! They are absolutely fantastic and keep the little sods seriously warm and dry.
