Anyone got one of these and are they any good? Need to replace my much loved Loveson blouson jacket ready for winter and they don't seem to make them any more :(

Also what's the sizing like I'll be looking to wear a thick hoody and body protector under it when riding and hate feeling restricted but don't want it baggy when I'm wearing just the coat
 
Yes I got one for Xmas last year and I'm really happy with it. I wasn't a fan of blouson types before as always found they rode up with the elasticated bottom but this one doesn't do it very much at all.

Sizing wise I think generous - I'm a 12 and have lots of room for layers and could definitely fit BP underneath if necessary. Sleeves are really long too which I love, but might be annoying for those with shorter arms to start with...

I also washed it a couple of times and it came up as new and seemingly as waterproof each time.
 
Great coat, warm and waterproof. Sizing is generous because it's unisex, so I'm size 10 and the xs is big enough for thick hoody/layers underneath. My only issue with it was that the stitching came apart inside the pockets.
 
I really like mine and they have lasted well, for I think about 2 years (I bought 2 as they were half price). The sizing is generous, I'm size 10 and bought the small, and it's great with room for layers. As foxy1 said, the pockets came undone but this seems to be a problem with pretty much every coat I've bought for the last few years. Really annoying.
 
Ooh thanks everyone am considering it as they are on sale at the moment so I should be safe with a 10? Was looking at maybe getting a 12 as feel like my shoulders are huge atm but if they are generous anyway I'll probably be safe with a 10 then 🤔 how are they across the upper body?

I have a rydale one with the removable fleece inside and that comes up really small for some reason especially the arms can barely move in it the loveson one is lovely only got it as went to hickstead one year and it started tipping down and I didn't have a coat so had to get one from the trade stands!

This is the issue I've always had with blousons but I didn't with the PE, I wonder if it's because the sizing it quite generous so maybe the extra bit of room helped me.
 
Probably going to get one but one last thing what's the lining like? My current one is a fleecy material (think horse fleece kind of material) is it warm?

Thought I'd procrastinated too long but I've just ordered a 10 in the brown? All the others are gone I don't usually wear brown but figured for 27 quid I can wear it! So may be worth checking the brown if you're not fussed on colour?

Yeah same here 're body protector I'm between a 10 and 12 in normal clothes but everyone has said they are generous sizing so hopefully will allow hoody and bp :)

Excellent point regarding brown matching Exmoors!
