I need to buy a few combo rugs for winter and I was impressed by premier equine's range. Before i spend a load of dosh could anyone give me any feedback on these rugs good or bad thx
Bought the Trio last Winter, used all the layers and both neck covers in varying combinations and were great, lovely deep rugs, well cut and never moved even when she tried to buck herself inside out whilst wearing them. Since having mine three other people on the yard have got them too!
If you do a search on here there are lots of threads....I think they are like marmite, you either love them or hate them.
Personally I wouldn't touch anything from PE with a bargepole after the disgusting customer service I received from them after my buckles sheared the first time the horse wore the rug. I am not the only one either!
thank you for your responses. Im quite confused what to go for but I dont like 600D rugs which is why i am looking at the higher end only rugs like bucas and rambo will cost a fortune if i need 3!!
YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have other rugs but they seem to have been downgraded to secondary rugs, even though they cost twice the price of my PREMIER RUGS......
Great quality, fantastic value friendly service and quick delivery
Sorry - hated them fit, weight and service. Just bought Rambo Duo complete with 100gm and 200gm liner for £250. Noticing a thread from above all the clips and buckles are guaranteed for life! I know they are expensive but you get what you pay 4!
I would look at the new Rhino turnouts. I have just bought the MW plus for £108 and it is really lite and warm. It has the fastenings for the Rambo Duo liners so can be used as a combo rug. The MW has 200g in it. Hope this helps.
At first I loved mine. But then noticed the neck cover lifted and rain got in (better than most tho) Also They have seems across the side which after a while leak
I love them - admittedly on one TO rug horse broke buckle on first day, but customer service was brilliant and new one in the post next day. Can't fault them - I've even got a spare brand new one in the attic!
They fit my lad really well and the HW Turnout with detectable neck is the best rug i have owned. You might get what you pay for but i prefer Premier equine to Fal so that says something.
I have heard a few negative reports about the Premier equine rug with all the interchangeable liners but that is the only one.
