has anyone else had this problem?

I got a 70g from them earlier this year in red. It was used in Spring for a few weeks then not at all over summer and Im using it again now - but the main rug is completely faded in comparison to the neck, which was on and off on sunny days. I realise the sun will fade things - but ive much older rugs that havent faded like this and they arent cheap:confused: Has anyone else had this happen?

I've had a red rain sheet from them for about 1.5 years and it still looks very red to me. Maybe worth contacting them and see what they say.

I've had this happen with PE no-fill & 70g rugs but they were quite old & used a lot so thought was just down to that.
I've also had several heavyweight PE rugs which haven't faded-presume this was because the heavyweights are only on during the day,in winter, when turned out but the lighter ones got much more use 24/7 in spring, summer & autumn.

I've got a red 200x rug from PE that has faded. I only used it last April for and again in Sept/Oct. It's totally waterproof and works brilliantly, but has just gone a different colour :(

Funny - I've got several red PE rugs in different weights and have not had that problem. Maybe we get less sun ?! As long as it remains waterproof, does it matter though? One of mine is a lower denier - think it might be 600 instead of 1250 ish and that leaks in heavy rain so not pleased with that one.

well, yes, I think it does matter tbh. Each to their own - and I know it doesnt effect the use of the rug but.. they are expensive rugs and it looked very smart to start with, now not so and Id expect it to have stayed looking good for longer:( I’ve sent them an email to see what they say.

I agree for the price it should not fade that quickly. I'm amazed how much they have gone up in price since i bought mine.

Have had the exact same thing. Neck cover is still a lovely red, but the rug itself has gone to more of a pinky colour. Haven't had a problem with the blue or black rugs though.
So long as it stays waterproof and keeps her warm though it's only the colour, which has been dyed anyway with a lovely colour of 'clay mud brown' :D
