Premier equine saddle gullet change

I’m trying to change my gullet from medium to medium wide and the gullet won’t line up with the screw holes! I’m not sure what to do I don’t want to have to pay to get it done when I could be doing it myself. Has anyone had the experience???

No experience of pe saddles. Are you sure you have a pe gullet for the saddle type?

Do you need to kind of force it out more? Ive not had a PE saddle but I often get a cheap synthetic for a new horse and a few have been impossible to line up. they sometimes really seem to take a bit of brute force.

Yes I have! I have two PE saddles. One was okay and the other was impossible! That one was second hand and a bit cross threaded so I got the saddler to replace the thing to screw into. PE were super super unhelpful, don’t sell the parts separately and basically didn’t give a **** that I had an unusable and half dismantled saddle Changeable gullets are great in theory and frustrating beyond all measure in reality!
