Anyone used them? Any good?

Thinking about getting some and wondered if anyone had any thoughts.

Also, is the sizing pretty big? I.E the XL size, are they mahussive or normal XL?! lol.

Thanks in advance

Yes very good and dont slip. Sizing is accurate so as a guide - my 16.2 ISH who is a good mw wears medium on the front and large on the back. They have been a god send in the bad weather as I knew my horse was completely protected. They also wash well. The velcro is very strong so can be a little entertaining to put on but of course you do want that to keep the boots in place! I school and hack in mine - not enough protection for XC or SJ but thats not their job! However a friend who had a horse who was quite light as regards to his bone had problems getting them to stay put.

Yep - I've had mine for a couple of years - I hack and school in mine. Mine are starting to look a little raggy around the edges, but I will probably buy some more of the same to replace them at some point (stuff has to be bleddy good for me to replace like with like!!).

As Luci07 said the velcro is very strong - what I do when I take them off is to roll the straps back so they are stuck back on to the boot, to stop them sticking to the boots!

sorry to hyjack -

but for hacking and schooling would you recommend these over their vented brushing boots? horse doesnt brush, just want some lw all round protection....

Iv always found them true to size and would choose them over a brushing boot for hacking (as mine dont actually brush) as they fit so well and have never overheated my horses legs
