Hi all, I have a few pairs of the sports boots and the combo boots from premier equine and I love them dearly! However, they are still fairly new but I struggle to get them looking really clean! It says wash on a cool wash but I find they still look grubby. The fabric is the type that everything clings too!

Does anyone have any tips for making them look like new? I'm possibly thinking a Velcro type brush to give them a brush over with?

Thanks for reading!

I've washed mine loads of times on a 40C wash (which is hotter than a cool wash i think)and they've not been harmed by the temp at all but it gets more dirt&stains out:)

Washed mine 1000's of times on a 40 wash using fairy non bio

And I have white ones!!!

Always come up looking like new. They do get washed after every wear though

Maybe try using vanish or any other stain remover for a soak first if they are that grubby, that might help

Thanks foraday! Mine are black so should be easier to maintain than white ones but its more the stuff that sticks to them that just doesn't seem to come off in the wash! Will persevere!!

Yes,they are super sticky! I do mine in one of those Horseware orange rug washing bag thingys...a pillowcase would work too:)

I find that the hair from the inside transfers to the outside when washing and as I have a grey it's very noticeable. So I spent an hour with a roll of Sellotape last night getting all the hairs off! Sad I know but they look a lot better :)

I also tumble dry mine on a cool setting, that tends to take of almost all the hair, shavings, hay, straw etc that is left after washing
