Have decided that TB needs a neck on his rug as he is fully clipped out and spends all day out every day. I have heard wonderful things about the Premier Equine Stormbuster and like the sound of it due to it being an "all in one" rug.

Do these rub the mane like some rugs with necks?

Also he fits a 6'3" Thermatex perfectly so am I right in thinking that he would therefore be 6'6" knowing that Thermatex are quite big sizes? He has a 6'9" Rambo high neck at the moment but it is a bit big round his bum (belonged to old horse but has done the job in the meantime). Are the Stormbusters roomy for their size?

Sorry for all questions!!

Hello
My horse is a 15.1 Arab x thoroughbred and has a stormbuster. He wears it in a 6'3, it is v slightly long but a 6'0 (which is what he is in most rugs) would have been too small. As they are 450g fill i think this takes up a bit of the size. I would be tempted to go for a 6'9 for yours.
Havent had any probs with the neck cover on the mane, and he is definitely toasty warm in the worst of weathers in it, and he is normally such a wimp!

Henry takes a 7'3" in PE sizes - they are usually pretty accurate. They are deep rugs so quite long in the belly and knee area, which I like. Henry has the stormbuster (from last winter) and it didn't rub him, but then he's fully clipped and hogged... I would go for the 6'6" if I were you - their service is fab, so if it's too small, they will happily swap for a larger one...
