Any advice?

It'll be my second horse I've officially owned.

Livery yard is pretty much sorted, cheap, good facilities and local.

In the process of buying equipment etc... Getting pretty excited :D

Full or DIY livery - if DIY do you need to source feed/hay/hay nets/water/feed buckets etc.? Are you using the yard farriery And make sure you have the vet's number in your phone. When does he/she arrive..is 'it' coming with anything i.e rugs? Lots of exciting times (and shopping) ahead...lets's hear all about it! Good luck.

Put a notice up at your new yard saying that you are buying a new horse (try and find out your horse's rug size too). Ask if anyone has good quality things that they would be interested in selling . You can look before you buy and won't need to pay postage.
Once you have the basics you can then spend money on the fun stuff.
