Looking for a couple of things:

Rug with liners
Long coat for me to walk and ride in
Ways of feeding hay without wasting in field
Ways of minimising mud during 24/7 turnout (2 in 2 acres, I can set up fences however I fancy)

Reviews and ideas please!

I got a nice coat from ebay, 29.99 enough warmth in it but also big enough size wise to war a jacket underneath..
try a hay box , can either put loose hay in it or tie haynets in it.
I double my rugs, keep a spare stable rug under heavier ones and layer up ?

Equi dry coats get great reviews. Another vote for a hay box. Get from builders merchants that had slabs in. I put a tie up ring screwed to bottom to tie nets in. Mud mats are the gold standard for mud management but v expensive. Otherwise corral near gateway so mud is away from in/out.

Equi dry coats are def worth investing in. You’ll be warm and dry, much better to buy a decent quality waterproof than try and manage with a cheap one, as you’ll end up having to buy more.

I have a rambo duo and it's kept my Highland warm. She has really felt the cold the past couplevyears to the point of needing the 300gram liner.

Hay - do you put piles out or rounds? I found little wastage with putting a net over a round and then using hay Bell. Putting out piles I got half whisky barrels, put clips in the bottom and clip haynets into them (wouldn't recommend for shod horses).

Mud - definitely recommend mud control mats if you can afford them.
