Hi - thought this might be helpful to the many members of this forum who I am sure will have pets on long term medication for arthritis etc or other chronic medical conditions. You may or not be aware that you can simply ask your vet for a prescription for whatever medication your pet is on and then order it directly from the undernoted company thus saving in some cases vast amounts of money. Your vet cannot refuse to give you the prescription and also cannot charge for giving you one. Your pet stays under their care and nothing changes apart from the fact you save yourself money -

I've compared prices with various other on line companies and this one seems to be the best currently by far. I hope this is helpful

sorry hazydaze but i think you'll find your vet can charge you for the prescription myvet calls it an admin fee
and charges £11 which i think is bloody outragous !!

mind you the savings to be made damn good.

not wanting to slag off vets but thier fees are over the top !!
my vet charges £30 callout i could call him a taxi and pay less.
i know i will have probably annoyed a few of you with this reply but you never see a skint vet only skint pet owners !!!.
try www.petdrugsonline.co.uk they are really good.
