Hi all,
My tb gradually developed a fluid-filled lump on the side of his knee as a likely result of bashing it on a XC fence earlier in the year. Had it scanned, the pocket was filled with synovial fluid from the tendon sheath - course of action is to have it drained and then pressure bandage/box rest for two weeks to encourage the pocket of skin to heal back down so it doesn't refill - before phased return to turnout and work. No lameness or discomfort as a result of this lump, I might add.
I was advised to use the Pressage knee bandage over softban, which I have done - but less than 48 hours in, I'm really struggling to keep the whole thing from slipping down.
I've tried stacking it with a bandage on the lower leg, and also taping the top of the Pressage bandage. Both help a little, but neither solves the problem. Photos attached to show different setups.
Any advice gratefully received as on my work days, I'm not able to check/reposition this at lunchtime.
