pressure sores on horse fetlock joint

Hi all.
It would appear my horse has some pressure sores around the back of his fetlock joints. Due to bandages. He has to have them on pretty much 247 at the moment to stop the uv getting to his legs and my vet advised me to bandage his legs. How do I go about treating them?

I would ditch the bandages and try these instead. They are designed for turnout.
