How do these saddles come up for size width wise?

The horse im having vetted this week which doesnt come with tack but has a prestiege jumping saddle which is a wide....

I have 2 saddles by ideal ( an int wide seat event in a medium tree and a suzzannah dressage saddle in a m/w) both were used on my TB who was quite fine and narrow.

My saddler has said as they are still only a year old he can tweak the tress out but only 1 width so not sure if they will be wide enough.

I was just wondering how prestige come up for size ie do they come up narrow?

I was surprised to find out the horse was a wide as i thought she would be a medium poss med/wide.

Any help would be apprecitated.

Prestige are quite narrow in comparison to Ideal saddles! They're build on similar flattish trees though, so will be interested to see how they compare in fit

Claire make sure you get a good Prestige fitter to look at it these saddles are completely changeable (width/panels etc etc) but saddlers that dont know about them and have never dealt with them do not know this !!

which one is it do you know x

stacey i think its this one.. http://www.prestigeitaly.com/elenco.php?padre=&cat=1&id=3

Its not right for me so i dont want to buy it with her.

They def do seem to come up narrow! I asked for some bailing twine and measured it and knotted the end between the d rings and also where the flocking begins and measured it against my dressage saddle.

My dressage saddle in a med/wide ( her saddle is a wide ) and mine is a good inch at least wider. Mine both have deep panels so are quite adjustable BUT it depends on if the tree shape is right for her back so if she passes the vetting will be making an SOS call to my saddler.
