So the new hoss requires a new jumping saddle!

He has quite high and long withers and is a big SF, quite the little tank! :p

It's between a Amerigo or Prestige... Decisions!

So I was wondering if anyone has a Amerigo or Prestige saddle? Or has any opinions on them...?

I'm leaning towards the Amerigo (cc pinerolo model)

It's between the Amerigo and either a Prestige (Meredith or Charisma D)

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED! thanks guys!

Love my amerigo pineroller ( probably spelt wrong ) very comfy saddle and moveable knee blocks very useful.
Can't comment on the prestige as have the amerigo but also looks quality.
I bought my amerigo many years ago after my horse at the time ( have had the tree altered to fit my current horse another advantage ) went so well in the amerigo dressage saddle i purchased under the advice of his physio ( he had back problems ) that the next year when luckily I got a nice bonus the first thing I did was get the jumping saddle also.
Both now fitted to fit my current horse ( original horse retired due to age )

I have an Amerigo Pinerolo jumping saddle. I like it a lot. Mine is the double flapped version. It's nicely made, the calfskin leather is soft and supple. I've ridden in Prestige saddles too and they're nice also so I'd say go for the one that fits your horse best and is the most comfortable for your body shape. Both manufacturers are good so ultimately it's personal choice.

I have a Prestige and love it; Smallish knee rolls but so well balanced it feels perfectly secure ( I hunt in mine). First saddle that doesn't ride forward on my connemara. Down side - I find the seat quite hard on my behind but an Acavallo gel-in seat saver means I now have my dream saddle!

Gel seat savers are the only way I can ride in any dressage saddle! haha :D
Which model do you have?? ERGH! I hate making this decision! haha

Mine is the Golden Star which I think is cheaper than the ones you mentioned. It has a flattish seat and a low cantle and doesn't 'lock' you in. I thought I wanted one that did and was initially disappointed with it. However, after several hunts that were more like assault courses (I live in Ireland!) I now adore it. You can move with the horse with a certain amount of freedom and the seat along with the knee and thigh blocks keep you nicely balanced and secure.
