Anyone been ......... thoughts on courses??

Would be horses 2nd intro (6 this year .....late starter) never been there before or heard anything about it

Its mid week, we were going to aim for Draycott House instead....

I know its midweek ......... mum liked the idea of the under 25 intro (shes a bit mad!!) plus its close to where we used to live so can stable at old yard.......

draycott house is too far.

Yes v sweet course, they used to have a 4yo class there which was a little bit tough for the 4yos as its not "that" straight forward but lovely setting, well built, v inviting, often a bit hard though....

Not seen it since it first ran in 2005 and unless they have changed it would not want to take a baby horse there. Quite twisty in places and there was a very large drop fence to a post and rail fence on an angle right at the end of the course.

Like I say may have been changed since 2005.

forgot to say it runs on the bank holiday monday and the tuesday

I was there in 2005 and 2006 - they had improved the course the second time and it was definitely easier.

The second fence was in a fence line and right next to trade stands so not good for anything that was sticky / nappy. Otherwise it pretty inviting last year.

Really nice event actually.

Lexi is much better thank you - 99% sound this morning. Cramming arnica into her and feeling cautiously optimistic, big decision tomorrow.
