I think my mare was previous badly treated by the earlier homes as she is very head shy, and hacking out when horses in front swish their tails causes her to jerk her head away. Poor mare has a huge scar and dent in her face where something has happened. Who else has a head shy and can you offer any tips.
She always puts her head up high when bridling or head collar or fly hood but you can hold her ears and put them in the ear holes of fly bonnets, it is just sudden movements and other horses tails swishing.
