We have been very lucky that every single one of our pups have gone on to fantastic homes! :D 3 different people have come back to get a second pup from us too so they must have been as happy as we are :)

A couple of the pups in those pictures (who you can see are healthy, happy and adored) went to people who had been turned down for pups by other breeders. The couple who had the choc boy who are some of the nicest people i've ever met couldnt get one because they both work, even though one works from home mostly and is only out of the house for 4 hours a couple of days a week, max!!! And yet people wouldnt let them have a pup.. If only we could all stay home doing nothing and still afford to pay for our dogs!! They were lovely though, had saved up for 2 years to afford a well bred, well raised pups and to have enough set aside for insurance etc etc so they were very responsible and the dog has a fantastic home!! Another couple said that they'd been turned down just because they were young (mid 20's so same as me!!) and the breeders didnt think they would be responsible enough to have a dog...!! They absolutely adore there dog, have had him 3 years now and have just had a new baby and the dog is as much a part of the family as the baby is and they take him everywhere with them! :D

What a lovely post and some cracking photos :)

I doubt a rescue centre would let me home a dog then if you are not allowed to work! No wonder they are all so full ;)

Well you can read about all the problems poor Kitsune has been having.

That's a joke Una, I totally agree, if you no one in the house works, how the hell can you afford vet's bills?!
It riles me that dogs are languishing in kennels (sometimes the more a dog is in kennels, the more stressed and unlikely to be rehomed successfully) or being denied good homes for this reason.

Those dogs all look so fit and shiny, I don't think anyone could deny they don't have a nice life, just because their owners work?!

How lovely that they keep in touch - you must be very proud to have bred such gorgeous labs and have found fantastic homes for them.

It must be so hard to see the pups go but photos like these must make it all worthwhile. :)
