Hi, I believe I've found the perfect horse for me however today we found out that she had whats looks to be a previously broken jaw as her teeth are out of line and her face is a bit won key shes in no pain at all you can move it and is not affected shes a good weight and is happy and accepting of the bit. I was just wondering if there where any other problems caused or anything else I need to watch out for or any extra precautions needed. She's only a 6 year old so must of been done as a foal

It probably wont cause any issues but if you are buying do get it vetted, my concern is a few less honest people may be trying to get rid of their 'problems' while vettings are not being done so be very careful about doing a proper check on the history, the perfect horse can very easily become a nightmare.

The horse may need dental treatment every 3-6 months rather than yearly if the teeth do not line up.

When you get her vetted make sure the vet knows and brings a gag so he can take a proper look in her mouth and see if there are any likely problems.
