Price advice

Hey, just wondering what price you would put on a 11.2hh, 7 year old gelding who hasn't done any work for the past 18 months and is a bit of an allround *beep*. He's very pretty and would make a nice show pony if somebody could be bothered with him, but the people who own him don't want to put any work into him before they sell him because they're silly.

No expert but at 7 years old I would say £150-200 max. Even if pretty, safety for a child is top of list. May have to give it away for a good home and someone experienced. Sounds more like it could have made a nice pony in right hands. I am not writing it off but it seems if its a "beep" difficult sale the cost of keeping it fed etc give it to someone willing/caring?
