Just had a word with my YO about this years hay. Must say it is beautiful. Am going to be paying £3.50 a bale. Considering a girl at the yard has just paid £6.00 from her longterm supplier I feel very lucky.

Mind you, Archie is on ad-lib hay, a good bale a day, during the winter.

Think he will be charging £4.50 to locals but not sure if his stock will allow him to sell locally this year.

Last year was paying £2.75 a bale but wasn't half as nice and when it ran out earlier in the year was paying £3.25 from elsewhere.

Paid £2.00 per bale for very good meadow hay and £6.00 for small bale haylage. Have got my all my winter supply so don't need to worry :-)

£3.00 per bale delivered and put in shed for me whenever I order it I only have 20 bales per delivery due to space. I had some delivered last thursday and its lovely hay my feed shed smells of sweet hay, I have been very sensible this year and have pre ordered my hay and paid in advance all I hace to do is ask for it to be delivered when I need it.
