Price of hay please?

What would you think was a good price to pay for good quality this years hay delivered?

Just got in 100 bales of lovely rye-grass stored from last year. Price was £6.50 per bale. Glad it was my boss's money not mine!

I pay £25 a bale (for a mini heston) weighs about 1/2 ton a bale. it usually lasts my three a week, but this months seem to last longer for some reason? (not that I am complaining!)
If I am running short before my delivery is due then small bales of good hay cost £3.50 a bale!

Big bale - around £25 for hay or haylage. Small bale - £4.

Well l hope this isnt advertising (its not my hay) but friend has lovely hay for sale willing to deliver for £2.50 a bale oxon/berks area??!

Selling at £3.50 per bale in the shop, baled in September, it was first cut though, and not rained on and tuned lots!

I am paying £3 per bale this year's hay. There isn't much of it. They like it though.

Delivered and stacked in my little barn, about 25 at a time.

£25 for a big round bale, and £4 for little bales from the local feed merchant.- used to be £3, but it went up!

I pay £28 for a large round bale of haylage and £2.50 per bale of hay, although its this years it is very very good. Basically same prices as last year. x

I paid £2 per bale off the field from the organic farm that I've used for years. Just found a window of a few days in August and made some lovely hay. Feeling quite smug and very relieved now that I know how much it's fetching! Seems to be advertised for about £5 locally now.

I pay £2.00 per bale at the farm I keep Jasper at it is also delivered and stacked in my storage space for me. Bargain

£20 per big rectangle bale that lasts my two about 3 weeks
or £4.50 per small bale my yo gets for hers
and we took some off a field and payed £2.50 per bale.

i pay £2.50 per bale delivered for the small bales. each lasts my two about 3 days. its really good hay, they just eat a lot!
