I pay £25 a bale (for a mini heston) weighs about 1/2 ton a bale. it usually lasts my three a week, but this months seem to last longer for some reason? (not that I am complaining!)
If I am running short before my delivery is due then small bales of good hay cost £3.50 a bale!
I pay £28 for a large round bale of haylage and £2.50 per bale of hay, although its this years it is very very good. Basically same prices as last year. x
I paid £2 per bale off the field from the organic farm that I've used for years. Just found a window of a few days in August and made some lovely hay. Feeling quite smug and very relieved now that I know how much it's fetching! Seems to be advertised for about £5 locally now.
£20 per big rectangle bale that lasts my two about 3 weeks
or £4.50 per small bale my yo gets for hers
and we took some off a field and payed £2.50 per bale.
