Price of shavings?

I know this gets done a lot but can anyone tell me how much you pay for a bale of shavings now? It seems to keep changing! I haven't bought any for ages so am out of touch

I stopped buying them last year when they were £8 a bale!!

Went to wood pellets instead....

ETS they are Hunter woodchips

I have put mine on straw though now - much cheaper but messy!

Some are £5.95 or £5.75 if you buy 10 at one of our local feed stores.

Bolton Gate: Bedmax £6.50

Big price difference, I think they are coreect, might be a couple of pennys out though

I was paying £9 for Hunters so now using Bed-Down Excel (Shavings and straw mix) at £6.60 a bale.

We get ours direct from the manufacturer for £4.75 per bale delivered! We do have to have 560 bales delivered in one go though!! That lasts us about 4 months!

If you collect them you can get as many/few as you wish for £4.50 per bale
