Well Im thinking about selling my little box as *sigh* the possibility of relocating to the capital has reared it's ugly head again:(

I've had a look around on websites like eBay and preloved for similar age/ style boxes, but the pricing seems completely arbitrary..... Is there anyway of getting an accurate fair price from anywhere?

I bought it from preloved years ago and have been told I got a really good box by my mechanic friend engine is all in great condition. He knows everything about engines, but nothing about horseboxes and really doesn't have a clue as to how to value it for sale!

For ref: it's a 02 Ldv convoy conversion.

with these little lorries being as popular as they are now the general rule of thumb seems to be think of a figure and double it!!

I put my little old E reg transit on eBay last October, started it at 99p, gave a totally honest description of the lack of mot and the fact that it would need about £500 to make it roadworthy again and despite people messaging wanting to buy it now for less than £200 it eventually sold for over £700! I couldn't believe it! Had hoped for £300 was stunned! I'd definitely go with the value being higher than you think, especially at this time of year! Good luck. :) x

If it has an MOT then you are looking anywhere upwards of £2300
If it is a Transit type then maybe £2500 up
If it is more of a VW LT35 type then maybe £3000 up
If it is a Renault master type then £4000 up
Scrap value would be over £500 likely at present.

Looking at ebay there are a couple 2002s on there at the mo (Convoys) and they are on for £3.8-4k. Whether they get what they ask I dont know, heres the link
