Hi - am wondering if anyone can advise. I am shortly going to be selling my 6 year old, 16.1 chestnut warmblood and am trying to ascertain a suitable price - never easy! We have have him since he was just backed by a professional dealer as a 4 year old and brought him on - he is on his first season affiliated eventing at BE90 with 1 BE100 to come and has just come 7th at Munstead (he was 2nd after the dressage on 26) but we had time faults due to a near rider fall when he put in an unexpected short stride! He has a careful jump show jumping, is incredibly bold and brave but calm and rideable cross country (Mark Corbett says he does it all with a smile on his face!) and lovely paces and presence - his sire was Wolkenstein II out of Weltmeyer and he's consistenly got 60-70% at dressage in Prelim, Novice and has even done a couple of Elementary classes and scored well. He's been placed every time unaffiliated. He's immaculately behaved when hacking alone or in company and to handle - loads, clips etc with no fuss at all. He will make someone a stunning eventer to bring on from BE100 or even pure dressage although he does love to jump and he will be a joy to have around. Looking at the classifieds, I am guessing at a price anywhere between £8-£13k so if anyone can help me narrow it down that would be great. I already have a few people who have seen him at shows and are interested so need to consider the money and the need for a special home... Many thanks
