Prince Philip Cup at Butlins! (Video)

Total fun! Love the old kit, bet it didn't cause as many back/teeth/health issues as we see today! (mind you, that drop noseband at the end was a tad too low!)
 
That brings back memories. I was in the PPC team for the Mid Surrey Drag PC in the late sixties. We thought we were quite good, but discovered we wern't when we got knocked out in the first round. I seem to remember you were only allowed snaffles (probably still the case) and long boots for children didn't exist then - the cheap rubber ones had yet to be invented. Happy days!
 
Remembering riding for the local branch team at Butlins Skegness, some time after this film, as the jods were different, enjoyed your posting , Lots of memories here!
