Private horse transport

Anyone know what the approx cost of transporting a horse is in an oldish 7 tonne horsebox, per mile? I saw a thread posted on the forum earlier this year that said 75p per mile on average, but £1.50 for a professional transporter. Would those figures be right for a horsebox of that size? Thanks.

sorry, can't help you though. You need to know roughly what your mpg is in your lorry and add some for maintenance/running costs.
