Hes had colic twice now

once needed surgery and once when he got into another field recently with very lush grass. He subsequently got in the same field again (but was on this suppliment) and didnt get colic so Im putting it down to the suppliment coz thats the only thing that was different.

Normally if you have a good feed merchant you can get them.

I always use them after a course of antibotics just gets her back on track quicker.

Hi I use Dengie Vitality dogestive plus. Feed merchants sell or buy online (I think). Vet recommended for my colicy horse, and it works wonders. About £25 a tub. Its a pre and probiotic with yeast

the protexin ones are good-range of different fore and hind gut organisms plus yeast.

I have used equimins pro bio - very effective on my horses and they are also reasonably priced.

I have used equine gold and pink powder. Blue chip also contains pro and pre.

I use Coligone - not only has it helped my mare pre and post operative (as general anaesthetic can give rise to colic), but my recovering laminitic, whenever I change his grazing, Coligone always sorts the squits out
