Does anyone know the actual difference between the SMB IIs and the SMB Elites? They seem to be the same apart from the Elites are shaped, and have a binding on the edges..? Most importantly, do the IIs come further down the pastern than the Elites?
Does anyone think it is actually worth spending the extra on the Elites (especially bearing in mind these are being bought to support an injury)? Or should I just buy the IIs? Or, considering I just got last month's statement and seem to have managed to spend £850 without realising (

) does anyone think the Premier Equine ones are just as good for support?

Can't comment re differences in SMBs.
I have a set of IIs and a set of premier equine and support wise think they both work as well. The neoprene in the PEs is thinner but still quite robust (although I do have the old ones - apparently new ones are breathable and old ones aren't?). I also find that although they are same fit around the leg the PEs are longer.

We use the SMBIIs have had them for the last 10 years and they are still going strong, had a look at the Elite's at BETA last year and TBH I would still opt for the SMBIIs they just seem a bit more robust. I also have a set of the premier equine boots, but for what we do they don't seem to take the battering the Pro Choice take. It's really down to you on what boots you feel are right for your horse, remember the pro choice come in different lengths.
