Firstly which ones should I get?

And secondly... The SJ ones... does anyone have any tips for not launching up horses neck before he takes off? XC I know my position is v defensive but I was so so nervous- its not normally that bad honest!

i agree about sj as if they had taken next photo at 100th second later on i bet you wouldn't even say anything about position

as Xc nothing wrong in good defence seat

Well I'm just about forgiving everyone who told me to buy her

jokes!

Shes had awful (grade 4) stomach ulcers throughout her stomach, that vets reckon shes always had low grade but change of environment has worsened them... so shes been in the lead, then jumping the second xc fence and grinding to a halt and refusing to moveuntil I get off! But that nice gastroguard stuff and shes winning unaffiliated stuff! Took her for a Yogi lesson yesterday and she was absolutely awesome, shes so talented and I love riding her, its just been a frustrating year!

I think youv'e had a really unlucky time with her...sounds like she could have had the ulcers for a good while and she was able to cope with them for a few years...perhaps unfortunately by the time she went to yours the pain was all too much...

I really hope that she does come right for you!!
Perhaps do a good bout of hunting this winter to get her thinking forwards again and make her realise that its now all good fun?

My horse is going well thank you..

he's had some time off due to a banged knee but before that, I felt like I suddenly REALLY clicked with him,and somehow everything really came together- so now can't wait for next season

Also i think H used to keep her out most of the day and religiously give her 3 feeds, whereas im not sure she got that where she was before i had her...

Thats what i was planning on doing, except all the hunts around here just canter on the roads all day

so will have to find a few goo dmeets to take her to!
