Ok might be stupid question and probably grabbing at straws!

my 4 year old is still growing, will the alignment of her spine change as she grows or will it remain as it is now?

She has vertebrae that are very close together but not kissing, as she is young just wondered if they would ever change?

probably being thick but if you don't ask you don't know!

Hi,
Particularly current for me, this issue. My beautiful almost 3 year old had x rays done in January which showed that 2 spiny processes had touched at some point and there was evidence of some calcification. She has grown quickly and also very unevenly, in terms of 'bum high/ withers high' so I was hanging on for that to be the issue. I have read loads and talked to lots of people and there are lots of views out there! She isn't lame at the moment or sore in the back. I have just had another set of x rays done tonight and they show that while the processes still don't touch, there has been some change. So now I have to wait for a call from Sven Kold who will probably tell me that she will need surgery.
The complicating factors with such a baby are that I can't tell if any intervention which isn't surgery has had an impact because she isn't showing clinical signs, I only have limited time now to get it sorted insurance wise (I don't have a spare £5k knocking about!) and then if she does have surgery she won't be able to do as much on the pessoa as they recommend otherwise she risks issues with her legs.
So I guess what I would do is what I've done- leave it 3 months, keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best! Then re x ray to assess whether any changes have taken place.
Sorry. If anyone has experience of baby kissing spines type issues please post..
