Probably boring I know, but first coloured ridden class - what to wear pls?!

As the title says, I'm taking my boy to in his first class in a few weeks - ridden coloured - only at unaffiliated level but I want to make sure we look our best!
He will be in plain tack, no boots, plaited etc, and hopefully won't have poo all down his hindlegs from travelling! It's me that's the problem! I've got the cream jods, black leather boots, plain shirt and tie, green tweed jacket and navy hat. Should I have a black hat? And what colour gloves?! Eeeek! I'm very excited but a little OCD when it comes to turnout. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated

Not an expert on showing coloureds, but it all sounds pretty good to me, id go for brown gloves if it was me, have you got a showing cane,not essential i wouldnt have thought, but seems to be the norm. Good luck & hope you have fun

Thankyou Thought I was pretty much on the right lines but I couldn't seem to find any helpful websites just to confirm, and at some shows they can be quite particular! Wouldn't want to let him down!
