Probably very very controversial.......... but OMG, why????

Poor poor horse, it was bad enought what the horse went through, and now they want to put the horse through more pain and probably for longer.
Ok so well done to them for saving the horse, but the head over heart decision should of been made asap, and the horse should of been pts with some dignity.
Now i sound a bit heartless but the money they are spending on that horse could of probably saved many more horse who would go on to have a useful life.
If this horse does recover, miracle, then what a field ornament for ever
 
Looks horrible. Some injuries can look horrendous but can be fixed pretty quickly but in this case - the tendons have already gone so dont see how it'll ever come right. I assume its on a big dose of pain killers but still. I assume the vets would have advised her if there was no hope though.
