Anyone any solutions? Can not get an even contact when jumping two of our show jumpers, the other one is so strong it does not affect her. Basically the right hand is stronger than the left and it doesn't matter how much you think about keeping them even it just does not work.

What about a piece of string between the d rings of your saddle and link your little fingers round it?

ok- you mean straight across from d ring to d ring, we tried a piece of string in a loop on one d ring to try to keep the left hand back but maybe this would work if you link both little fingers! Thanks will give it a try - got to break this bad habit urgently.

Hi, I have a carol mailer bridging rein that I ride in. I don`t use the extra bridge rein, but it has 4 rubber bits fitted along the reins so you keep an even contact much better. It stops them slipping.

I had never heard of this device so have looked at it on the web and it looks very interesting maybe will try this if the string doesn't work as the string would be much cheaper
