Problem with faux suede bottomed breeches...

Mine appear to be disintegrating!! I've used them twice and the seat is crumbling onto the saddle. Admittedly they were ebay cheapos but is it just superficial crumbling? I'm almost afraid to wash them. Anyone else had this happen to them or is it just my rubbish ones?

i have a horka pair that it has started happening to, i have worn them a bit and washed them a fair few times though so i'm not overly surprised, i also ride with a suede seat saver which i'm sure doesn't help. i wouldn't buy another pair even though kids find it highly amusing when i sit on the leather sofa and get 'stuck' to it
