Problem with foaling signs, any suggestions?

My mare story: First foal did birth in my stable without compications. Mare was pregnant 375 days. Signs before foaling was normal. Unfortunately mare got little liminitis. Vet said that cause was to much food.
Second foal. Mare was pregnant 393 days BUT before foaling she didn't have any signs. She started produced milk after 10 days.
Now she is pregnant 325 days. At the moment she dont have any signs.

Were you in a similar situatuion? Any suggestions?
 
Well you have little option but to watch the mare. When you start doing that is a gamble- you know she tends to go over but that's no guarantee for this time. If she were mine I'd be watching from 335 days and would really hope she didn’t go 393 again!
 
You say "gamble" but first pregnant was normal. A lot of vets tell that 375 days is not too long. I know that 393 days is too long but Im worry that she dont have foaling sings, maybe no have milk.
At the moment I see that her udder is gently changed. But when she coming back from fields udder is without the change.
I'm wondering what could have changed from first pregnant.
I'm lucky that I work in home, and Im all time in home so I watching her many times in day.

You have two foalings to go by- 1 normal, 1 a bit unusual. If anyone can give you a definite reason for her going longer and not letting down her milk the 2nd time presumably it's your vet who dealt with her at the time?
Beyond that, it's total guesswork what she will do this time
 
I noticed a strange relationship.
For several days my mare did very very small udder. But when she did go on field udder disappeared.
Today I didnt let her go and udder is a little bigger :o
I see relationship because when she birth first foal, she hasn't been out on field in a week. And foaling sings was normal.
Any ideas? This is strange...

That sounds quite normal. Their udders can and do fluctuate in size, especially when they’re first beginning to fill.
 
That's completely normal, it's completely normal for the swelling to increase when they stand in and then for it to go down when they move around. Generally when it stays full after being out you know you're pretty close.
 
@TheMule I know about it.
But why she did not done udder in second pregnant? When she gone out everyday on fields. That was winter so I exclude agalactia from grass.

No one on here can really tell you that. Did your vet not have any theories at the time? You said she had laminitis in her first pregnancy, so were her food and forage restricted in her second to the extent that they impacted her milk production? If not, perhaps it’s just one of life’s mysteries ??‍♀️
 
@JJS She had laminitis in first pregnant and it did not affect on fetal, foaling or lactation. So I think that her food was good. I asked with a few vet and nobody had ideas. Everyone said "give her "oxitocine every day" for started lactation but it did not work. One vet said "one spoon cacao powder for feed". And next day she got full udder milk but Im not sure if that was the reason.
